Business Skilled Migration
The current Business Migration Program aims to attract business people with a proven track record of success, business skills and required capital for settlement in Australia. There are a number of visa classes associated with the business skills category. These range from business owners, investors and senior executives of large companies. Visas can be granted for permanent residence or temporary residence.
Obtaining immediate permanent migration currently applies only to overseas applicant clients with exception.al business skills. Where permanent visa requlrements are not met, applicants will initially need to apply for a provisional (temporary) business skills four-year visa under the new two-stage business skills migration scheme, and after providing sa1tisfactory evidence of a specified level of business activity in Australia, may apply for a permanent business skills visa.

- Business Owner (Provisional)
For owners of a business or part of business with a genuine commitment to establish and manage a business in Australia.
- Business Owner State/Territory (Provisional)
For owners of a business or part of business sponsored by State/Territory government with a genuine commitment to establish and manage a business in Australia.
- Senior Executive (Provisional)
For senior executives of a major business with a genuine commitment to participate in the ownership and management of a new or existing business in Australia.
- Senior Executive State/Territory (Provisional)
For owners of a business or part of business with a genuine commitment to establish and manage a business in Australia.
- Investment (Provisional)
For owners of a business or part of business sponsored by State/Territory government with a genuine commitment to establish and manage a business in Australia
- Investment State/Territory (Provisional)
For senior executives of a major business with a genuine commitment to participate in the ownership and management of a new or existing business in Australia.
